Cow

Cows are one of the ubiquitous domesticated species in Daly. From the rangy, tan beasts of the northern deserts through the placid spotted beasts of the midlands down to the shaggy, stocky cattle in the south, every settlement has at least a handful of cows.

A close relative are rothé, who are close relatives of cows and ox but have the ability to see in the dark. As such, they are usually kept by dwarves, gnomes and the like who bring them into their tunnels and caves in times of danger.
