Black Lotus

Found mostly in the north, this pretty water plant (thankfully, very rare) nevertheless is quite toxic. The whole plant, dried and powdered, forms a poison that can permanently reduce the victim's vigor. Distilled into an essence, it is undoubtedly one of the most severe poisons in the world. Even brushing against the leaves or the delicate petals of this flower is sufficient to cause severe symptoms, up to and including temporary paralysis- a problem, since it exclusively grows in deep, still waters.
