Aasimar

Stories have been told for millennia of Aasimar- humanoids with a fragment of the power of the gods, born to serve as champions of the gods.

However, no Aasimar has ever been seen in this world, and it is commonly accepted that the gods would have no reason to mingle their bloodlines with humans, having much better ways to invest their power directly in their chosen ones- either through a bargain made with an individual to grant them limited powers in the form of a warlock bond, or by directly imbuing a chosen cleric or paladin with divine strength.

Aasimar therefore fall firmly in the 'mythological' category here in Daly.
