Caravan
Born from the concept of how Trains transport goods, a Caravan is a series of Carts (not physically) tied together much like cabins via the Horses that pull them. Since the beasts are trained to follow each other a Caravan doesn't need a dali sitting on each Cart, only a few (usually one at the end a few in the middle depending on the length of the Caravan) to make sure that no parts accidentally split off from the line.
I can either share the profit with nineteen other merchants, or form a caravan to only split it five ways. Caravans are here to stay I say so meself! Its name originates from Dwarvish, roughly meaning "surface train". Merchants that form Caravans often time have to trust each other a lot. Forming a Caravan is like taking a guild contract, you'll have to spend a lot of time together for a common goal. Since Caravans are rather noticeable and generally carry a large amount of goods, they are pretty susceptible to Bandit attacks, which is why they are usually accompanied by Mercenaries hired to protect it. Running a Caravan over short distance is often not worth it, so it's strictly a way of transporting trade goods and / or raw materials over long distances where traveling via s is not an option.
