Almir rose into nobility inside Wanzhold. For a brief period there was controversy of his family being tied to the Copper Coins Gang, but it has been cleared up and he's been declared innocent of the charges.
He worked all his life to elevate the Metir family onto the big stage, which he partially succeeded in. The Metirs became and influential noble family of Wanzhold up until the Disciples of the Collective took it over.
