Éerta Berry

The Éerta Berry (sometimes called Blueberry) is an incredibly rare and valuable species of berries ingesting of which has been discovered to affect one's Mana in various ways. Scientists have not yet discovered a reproducible way of growing these berries, or how they actually work.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Personal possession or usage of Éerta Berries is considered illegal in many nations - the berries and often their products must be immediately deposited to the court. They are most often used for potions and poisons that are particularly effective on Mages.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

The first Éerta Berries were discovered in the Underdark, but there have also been locations on the Surface where they appeared.
Researchers have not found any common denominators of the limited places they've been observed to grow, but current theories suggest that they grow near certain focus points on The Weave - which would explain why they suddenly stop growing there after a point (as The Weave's shape changes around them).
