Ono-Dal

Ono-Dal (Zean: Breathless Rest) is a spiritual group recently emerging among the Nata-Fii tribe, teetering on the edge of being outlawed.
Ono-Dal's primary tenet is that the deadly vapor permeating the Jaba-Dal marsh should not be a source of fear, but a phenomenon to be embraced and accepted as a natural part of the tribe's life. While harmless on the surface, this belief can lead to reckless behavior and endangerment of others.
First mentions of Ono-Dal were just whispers, shared among the lower classes of the Har-Fii capital (Zean: Seat of the Swallow). Prices of plots of land outside the city, such as those used for a burial, became unachievable for the poor. It is uncertain whether it was a coordinated effort, but instead of cremation, several elderly citizens chose to wanader off into the marsh to pass away, which is where  the organization got its name. After the practice became more common, some people took it upon themselves to start organizing the last journeys of the sick and old. Soon, a leader emerged. Known only as the Last Swallow (Zean: Fii-Haro), she is the one coordinating the funerals and her song personally bids goodbye to most of her clients. Under her guidance, something resembling an organization formed. There is little structure to Ono-Dal, but all of them at some point listened to the Swallow's sermons or read her letters. With time, they became more and more intense in their criticism of the walled city and its separation form the nature. More fanatic members attempt to adapt to the toxins outside, prolonging exposure more and more, which led to several casualities. Even more alarming, the Chimneysweeps report an increasing number of intrusions and attempted vandalisms in more vulnerable parts of the city, where a breach could result in the vapor seeping into Har-Fii walls.
