The Conflict

Prelude

A greede dwarven bussiness man want to take advantage of the recent war ending to seize the control of a gnomish ore mining company within the dwarven city
A company of great value in return and a lot of renown

Deployment

All start with a rumor of disventage because the use of non divine magic, now forbidden, within the mining company: magica transport and detection ore.
The whole city was againt this company even with the renow only cause they where gnomes and use magic

Battlefield

The terrain was the city, the buildings of the mining company and the houses of the gnome workers, owners.

The Engagement

A wise dwarven was returning home after years of war to encounter this happening in her home, she was wise and understood the real reasons behind the conflic but the mood was impossible to change the dwarves where fooled and tired of the privations and shortage she war brings
Then she found an ally in the headmaster of the gnome mining company, a wise too old gnome and the conflict was ended.
  • The company use of non divine magica was used before the prohibition by law this is no retroactive; then is not a fault.
  • The company will drop all non divine magica activities and decomish all now forbidden magical items
  • The company will open contracts to dwarves to fulfill the task this magical items provide
  • The company reserves the places of power within the company to gnomes

The dwarven bussiness man and almost all his family and partners where exiled from the city; by the general

Yes!! I know this is only fantasy but I know that many real conflicts can be started only by one person, one lie, one person hate. I love a short story written by Issac Asimov that an alien bet with another, that he can not change the world with only one little thing; he did!! Don't remember the name of the story I will check it and told you.
