Ga'zsacz I- The Legend (Gah-Zacks-Wun-The-Leh-Gend)
(A full copy of "Ga'zsacz", an epic written by scribes of the now-destroyed "Holy Ga'zsacz Empire", was recovered from a decrepit shrine by an expedition of associated fellows of Mazoch University in Dinas Undod, organised to find and recover Orcish artefacts from the Eastern Leg of Kquimlar Island. It was subsequently passed along to Dr Erser Fompul, the renowned scholar in Orcish History and Culture. He is currently still translating the entire work from the archaic form of Daraktan it was written in, but has published an abridged version of the tale based on translated exerts and fragments. This excerpt from the first part serves as an introduction of sorts to Ga'zsacz and his deeds, and mixes in historical truths with exaggerations and tall tales.)
In that damned time, when orc killed orc, when subjugation was the law of the land, when tyrants ruled with tongues of silver and fists of iron and when division fuelled it all, one stood against it. He was a warrior of un-godly prowess, utilising powerful magika to augment his strength, speed and endurance. He mastered one hundred and ninety-nine different weapons and combat forms, and led grand armies in the name of freedom. He went by many titles and sobriquets. The Ruminator, The Destroyer, Master of all Kquimlar, Grand Marshal of Orc-dom, The Undefeated and The Unconquerable. However, his true name was but one word.
Ga'zsacz.
From humble beginnings as a serf working the lands of corrupt aristocrats in Kquimlar, Ga'zsacz lit a flame that enveloped all of Dagan in change and revolution. His cunning, charismatic leadership raised thousands of loyal soldiers and followers, and he left behind a powerful Empire in his own name.
