Shaharazad

Shaharazad is a noble djinni, or Genie, often disguised in darker skin and flamboyant nature - truly a spirit of the wind. She urges travelers and shipmates to sail and explore new regions, and is constantly searching for the newest adventures - She's always so BORED of being back at home, everything there is always so perfectly perfect. The mortal plane and the mortals within it are wonderful and flawed, and those often make for the foundations of the best stories. She wishes to hear about the incredible things that make living out an adventure so fun and exciting!

Appearances

Although Shaharazad has taken on many forms to collect her tales of trade, she does favor a few more than others... The first time she appeared to Luce was as an Air Genasi
"... a stunning, seemingly air genasi woman. She had waist length hair the color of the midnight sky - a deep fathomless indigo- that seemed to fall in waves down her back with the shorter tendrils floating to frame her face. Her skin was soft periwinkle blue clear of any markings or scars. She gazed at Luce with an openly curious gaze though the longer Luce looked into those eyes the more she felt that this woman was not all that she seemed...
She also often takes the form of a dark-bronze-skinned elven woman, with longer-than-average ears, deep green eyes, and a wickedly charming smile. This form is one she often uses when traveling far and wide on the mortal plane, and she adorns herself with seasonal colors and fine or precious materials. Whether she opts for leather or fine jewels, there is always some adornment that flaunts her strong and feminine body - she is not one who likes to go unnoticed. It's also not uncommon of her to use this form to charm males into doing some delightfully foolish endeavor, so she might relish in recounting the tale to his friends, strangers, and anyone that might lend her their ear.

Personality & Traits

From Monster Manual - if she is a Djinni,
Proud, sensuous genies from the Elemental Plane of Air, the djinn are attractive, tall, well-muscled humanoids with blue skin and dark eyes. They dress in airy, shimmering silks, designed as much for comfort as to flaunt their musculature.
Airy Aesthetes. Djinn rule floating islands of cloudstuff covered with enormous pavilions, or topped with wondrous buildings, courtyards, fountains, and gardens. Creatures of comfort and ease, djinn enjoy succulent fruits, pungent wines, fine perfumes, and beautiful music. Djinn are known for their sense of mischief and their favorable attitude toward mortals.
Accepting Servitors. The djinn believe that servitude is a matter of fate, and that no being can contest the hand of fate. As a result, of all the genies, djinn are the ones most amenable to servitude, though they never enjoy it. Djinn protect those in their employ, treat them kindly, and part with them reluctantly. In the case of Shaharazad, she often forms contracts with mortals that err closer to "mutual benefit" than one-sided servitude.
Although they resemble humanoid beings, genies are elemental spirits given physical form. They don’t mate with other genies or produce genie offspring, as all new genies are born out of the same mysterious fusion of spirit energy and elemental power. A genie with a stronger connection to its mortal soul might choose to sire a child with a mortal, although such offspring are rare.
As an ambassador of the Plane of Air, the Djinn are natural enemies of the Dao - greedy, malicious genies from the Elemental Plane of Earth.    Decadent Nobility. Noble genies are the rarest of their kind. They are used to getting what they want, and have learned to trade their ability to grant wishes to attain the objects of their desire. This constant indulgence has made them decadent, all while commanding a supreme power over reality. Their vast palaces overflow with wonders and sensory delights beyond imagination.
Noble genies cultivate the jealousy and envy of other genies, asserting their superiority at every opportunity. Other genies respect the influence of the noble genies, knowing how unwise it is to defy a creature that can alter reality at a whim. Few djinn defy or revolt against the noble Shaharazad, however - they enjoy her "fairy tales" and lavish company... Well, that is, whenever she decides to stop in for a spell.
