Valkan Riogan

Valkan is an extraordinary individual who has led a long and colorful career. He is a burly man in his early forties with a stern face and salt-andpepper hair. He is a fallen paladin who took to Wildspace after a tragic love affair. He never speaks of his past.

Valkan does not own five ships, but he does own and operate the largest and most successful mercenary company on the Rock— Valkan's Legion. It has become one of the most respected and sought-after mercenary companies in the land. Valkan is a clever commander, always thinking several steps ahead and adapting his tactics to suit the situation. He is also a formidable fighter, able to wield a variety of weapons with deadly precision. He chooses his causes and has never sided with an evil power.

Valkan is known for his cool head under pressure and his ability to stay calm in the face of chaos. He values loyalty and will go to great lengths to protect his comrades, but he is also willing to make the tough decisions that are necessary for the success of a mission. His reputation as a skilled leader and fierce warrior has earned him the respect of his peers and the fear of his enemies.
