Maya

Maya is a sleek, agile wererat with dark fur and piercing yellow eyes. She is fiercely independent and fiercely protective of those she considers family, which includes the staff at her restaurant, The Rockrat.

Maya grew up on the streets of The Rock of Bral; She learned to survive by using her cunning and quick reflexes to avoid trouble and find food. She eventually stumbled upon a group of wererats who took her in and taught her the ways of their kind.

As she grew older and more skilled, Maya began to dream of a better life for herself. She saved up every scrap of gold she could earn and eventually opened the Rockrat, a small but popular restaurant on the Rock of Bral. The Rockrat quickly became a place where travelers, merchants, and locals alike could come to enjoy a hot meal and share stories.

Despite her success, Maya has never forgotten her roots or the dangers of the Rock. She keeps a close eye on her staff and her customers, always ready to defend them if necessary. She may seem rough around the edges, but those who get to know her will find a kind and generous heart beneath her tough exterior.
