Captain Bonapardt
Upon first meeting him, Captain Bonapardt insists that you address him by his full title, Captain Bonapardt Constantine of The Wellscorne Coast the Third. After you've dealt business for a brief time, he will accept Captain Bonapardt.
Bonapardt is an Orc sailor and captain of The Aurore, a shipping vessel that operates in Northern Cyroion between Gyte, The Steppes of Galeaha, and Kutalla. Having learned to read after spending time as a first mate to a previous captain, Bonapardt now collects romantic fantasy novels of great ship's captains and their escapades. Due to this, he attempts to speak eloquently, but many of his choices of word are wrong. With no formal education, he lacks understanding of grammar and definition of many of the words he reads, and relies on off-hand conversation with others to define them. Once he feels he has a grasp of the vernacular, he immediately imparts it to his speech and tries to use it as much as possible. He tends to run out of steam when trying to wrap up his sentences, and caps many orations with a very basic summary of what he was trying to get across.
As a businessman, Bonapardt is reliable, discreet, and efficient. He runs a tight ship and loves combat, barking orders and wading headlong into the fray when anyone tries to accost him or his vessel. He deals with would-be pirates harshly, killing any that refuse imprisonment, and returning the vessel and remaining crew to the proper authorities and collecting the reward. If the pirates are not of note, or the vessel not known to fetch a bounty, he will stop at small ports and sell pirates as indentured servants and either scrap or sell the vessel.
