Israfel, former goddess of passion

During the Foundation, Israfel had dominion over all passionate emotions; the beautiful electricty of love, and the raging inferno of anger. During the events that led to the Calamity, Israfel gave into her own passion and sought retribution for the mortals. If they were going to blaspheme against the gods, then they must pay with their lives.

Israfel was deemed an immature deity, being controlled by the very power of emotions she claimed to have dominion over. She was banished to a dungeon in the very center of the Shadowfell, under the Raven Queen's palace, a place where emotions are muted.
