Eikko, God of the Sea
Eikko is the most adventurous, fun-loving, and wonderful god of the pantheon -- "wonderful" in this sense meaning literally full of wonder. Eikko is the god of wonder, adventure, experience, and discovery. Many worlds' religions depict their sea gods as merciless and ill-tempered. But with Eikko, if there's ever a stormy gale, it's unlikely to have malicious intent, but rather Eikko is giving another challenge; a chance for adventure! And most seafarers, especially those who revere Eikko, understand this and revel when the seas begin to rise.
Other than Ephara and Nesryn, Eikko is one of the most social gods, maintaining decent relationships with most of the other members of the pantheon. In addition, he appoints many champions and does not limit his divine magic to only his clerics and paladins (for example, many sorcerers wield the power of storms). To him, the Divine Gate is a horrendous invention, and if there were any other way to protect the mortals from corrupt deities, he would take it in a heartbeat. Eikko just wants to be relational with his creation and taken them on wondrous adventures.
Ideals/Domains: Tempest, storm, travel. Eikko believes like itself to be an adventure that should be experienced to its highest potential. He embodies the unpredictability and vastness of the sea, as well as the excitement and thunderous pomp-and-circumstance of the storm.
