Ao Kuang, God of Horizons

Ao Kuang is the ascended dragon god of knowledge and magic. In his life as an elder dragon, Ao Kuang served as a king, leading with the utmost wisdom and grace. Then, lending strong aid in the battle against Al Nacash, he gained the attention of the other deities of the pantheon. After Mystra’s death, the gods of Cynthia appointed Ao Kuang as the new god to watch over the Weave. Ideals/Domains: Knowledge, arcana. Ao Kuang aligns a lot with Akarat and Nesryn, but disagrees with Akarat’s dogma, seeing plenty of moral ambiguity and “gray-areas” within life. With regards to Nesryn, in some areas, he believes that she can be too passive at times. Ao Kuang ultimately tries to balance knowledge with action, which, by definition, is wisdom.
