Alentos, God of the Hunt

Alentos is the wild god of the hunt. He claims dominion over the whole of the natural world, particularly hunger and predation. Alentos is the best archer in the realm, and contests of archery and hunting are often held in his name. Those who hunt their own food pray to Alentos for success, and he blesses their natural predation. Poachers and those who kill for sport, however, know that he loathes such activity, and they try to stay hidden from him at all costs. Alentos' champions have slain many of those who have killed wantonly in his sacred forests. Alentos is also the father of all lycanthropes.

While Alentos cannot exactly be seen as benevolent, he is honorbound and always gives his prey a sporting chance; he is even willing to be congratulatory to those who were deemed as prey if they manage to turn the hunt to their favor.

Ideals/Domains: Nature, strength. Though Nesryn and Alentos are both nature deities, Alentos believes that the natural world should be untethered, and those who encroach on nature's domain should be hunted and slain.
