The Positive Energy Plane, also known as the Plane of Life or simply the Positive Plane, is a Transcendent Plane of Existence in the Syzygy Cosmology. It and its counterpart, the Negative Energy Plane, encompass the entire Astral Sea and provide the very fabrics of reality that allow everything within, even Ashra and Boda, to exist. There is very little to be said about the Positive Plane itself. Precious few individuals ever even became aware of its existence, and none has ever dared to travel there. If someone ever did manage to enter the Plane of Life, they would ironically be instantly and utterly obliterated, for no corporeal form is sufficient to withstand the immeasurable overload of energy that comprises the Plane. Together with the Elemental Planes, the Positive and Negative Planes were key components in the accidental creation of Cynos. The Feywild and Shadowfell are the byproducts of mixing the Transcendent Planes with Cynos, and it is their existence that prompted mages and scholars to investigate and theorize about the Positive and Negative Planes in the first place.
