SEdGen

It's all real - vampires suck, and werewolves really are hairy and feral, and sorcerers are notoriously playing with crap they don't understand and shouldn't touch. The world ended, sure, but that was science. Look at the chaos of that alien hoax in 2387. People aren't really for this shit. So it's our job to keep a lid on it, to keep them veiled. It's our job to keep the secret safe. Otherwise there'll be no world left to save.

The SEdGen is an organization dedicated to suppressing, and controlling supernatural threts that terrorize twilight city, although rumours have it that other suimilar such societies exist in other domed cities throughout the world. 
The society traces its origins back to an 18th centuiry secret society founded in London, and brough to Twilight City by a man known only as the The Dark Walker.
Nowadays, the organization is a lose collection of 10-15 vigilantes, funded largely by stolen goods and armed with filched weapons and biotech. The SEdGen operates from the back room of the neon night club "Nirvana", in the heart of lower Twilight City.
With usualyl at least one hacker plugged into the police Sys, the organization relies on backhand and illegal intelligence to locate supernatural threats. Members often have to screamble to put together information and clues about supernatural threats no one else even undeetsands, let alone recognizes. In this age of banned religions, it's often difficult to distinguish which crimes and strange signs are the work of underground religious cults (which often turn violent), and which are genuine supernatural threats which only the SEdGen is equipped to deal with. 

Structure

The struture of the SEdGen is flat, and most things are decided by vote. That said, Crimson has risen as a leader among the group, and many listen to her opinion. All the group memebrs refer to each other by code names, and keep their "Veiled" identities intentionally hidden from one another. This is to avoid anyone trying to infiltrate the group and its secrets, or endanger their daytime lives with their "nightly" activites.
