Jade is Dani's girlfriend. They met in high school when Jade was a senior and Dani was a sophomore. Jade graduated high school and took online college courses to stay in the same city so they didn't need to try at a long distance relationship. Jade had pursued Dani (who was afraid of forming a connection with anyone), and after she proved herself to Dani, they began dating and Dani went to Jade's prom.
Meanwhile, as their relationship is blooming, Jade is working anonymously on the dark web to find (and kill) the Cyberangel (whom she is unaware is actually Dani), as the Cyberangel is continuously tracking and taking down her lower-level drug distributors. The cyber crimes division is close to tracking Jade's location and IP, so she's planning on planting a bug in their computer system that will destroy all of their evidence.
