For example those who are magistrates in Whistlegrove also tend to become druids. Meanwhile those who are from Je'kal have to go on a year long journey on a trading vessel and have a list of goods they must sell and aquire.

Career Progression

Most magistrate start their training as librarians. While in this early stage of their profession they are required to learn how to organize, categorize and then creature their own structure for managing a library. Once they can successfully manage and expand their given library for a full year.   From there they spend the next three years at their nearest bank to learn the ways of financing, economy, and accounting. Once their mentor deems them ready they are allowed temporary control of the bank to test their knowledge.   After that depending on the culture it can range from Military training, magical training, or any various demands of the specific nation.

Payment is usually determined by their current job in order to try to promote a more humble nature.

Most magistrates are sought after for favor as they tend to be future rulers or those with great influence.
