Intercepted Transmission - THM Raid

Public news broadcast released by a reporting station operating in northeastern Tiatholon Province. Unknown outside of its home province, but preferred by many middle-class locals for its unbiased aspirations and distaste for both the Imperial party line and Falken Post.
This is the Haven Tribune Broadcast.   Tonight... A Terrorist raid on a medical prosthetics distributor on Sampson's World has officially been attributed to the Barbarian Coalition.   ====   A terrifying attack was launched yesterday on True Horizons Medical, in the downtown capital on Sampson's World, by an unknown number of foreign infiltrators. The attack resulted in multiple shootouts, several guard personnel injured or dead, arson, data theft and gratuitous destruction of walls.   First responders to the scene found all but 5 of the employees outside the building and unharmed, as well as all living members of the security staff on site at the time. 3 of those missing were later interviewed by touring police in the Bastion Hill district, claiming to have fled another assassin dressed as a company security officer. Mr. Akkala, a public relations officer and a founding member of the reclusive medical firm, has yet to be located or identified.   Eyewitness testimonies have been described as inconsistent, and all security footage from the site and municipal records have been lost, meaning giving an unclear picture of the attack. However it is known that the rogue combat robot that rampaged across Valley Low Primary and was cornered by police and military forces, was present and is almost certain to be part of the barbarian plot.   Kevyn Landon, acting police commandant, has this to say:
"This attack has all the hallmarks of feeble barbarian aggression and uncontrolled violence. We are lucky that they contained themselves entirely to one office building until the final moments, rather than a whole hospital or even the city at large."   When asked why the terrorists chose to enact their reign of terror over one obscure distribution plant and shipping office rather than a larger of better-known target, or why True Horizons Medical might have caught their attention, Commandant Kevyn Landon chose to end the interview.   In surprising contrast to the robotic killing spree that spread out into the city, which killed 21 government employees and wounded over 70 more, witnesses among both the employees and surviving guards chose to comment on the apparent restraint of the invaders.   Dimitri Bellia-Annel, a security consultant working for True Horizons, was found stunned on the scene outside the building's main entrance and insists that he was deliberately left unharmed.
"They used non-lethal weapons only, at least until they did for me. Even through our armour and hardware, which was close to military. And someone touched up my cheek while I was out. That's not normal behaviour for common goons or fancy hit squads. It makes no sense."   "I'd pay a lot to work out who they were, you know?"   Another survivor, Meredith Stacey Akkala, claims to be the one who first raised the alarm on the barbarian attackers.
"I knew there was something off when they broke a hole in my wall. Disgusting, I know! I called my cousin, he ran the public desk, and he soon had them off for questioning. A little later, I was outside. And I saw them bringing out our guards, patching them up. Three of them, all with different little markings on their shoulders! If I wasn't so out of sorts then, I don't know what I'd do."   "After my wall, then my whole office, and then being nice and quiet when I sat down... It just won't do."   Ms. Akkala also alleged that the barbarians, who she claimed had pronounced Rupeean accents, were inept at making coffee. Commandant Kevyn Landon has yet to comment on this claim.   That the foreign invaders chose to stay behind and treat the wounds they had just inflicted, rather than escape or cover their tracks more completely while their unmanned weapon destroyed so much of the world's brave defenders, has left some to speculate that the combat robot was out of control and haywire in the face of an attempted bloodless infiltration.   With the terrorist attack occurring so close to the Imperial interior, the Lord Admiral Konstantin Germanovich has announced the arrival of Jaywalker Squadron of the Dreadnought Corps to the province, but refused to elaborate further on their objective.   Perhaps the elite defenders of Terran honour have come to steady a garrison shaken by repeated minor defeats, or perhaps they intend to bring to justice the unnatural Void Walker Project that was believed to be responsible for inciting riots in Apigi the previous month. We have reached out to the Dreadnoughts directly, via their base in Sol, and are awaiting an official response.   This has been the Haven Tribune Broadcast.   ====
