Dmitri Krezkov

Dmitri Krezkov is the Burgomaster of Krezk.
When the heroes first arrived in Krezk, they were refused entrance by the Burgomaster, who valued the safety and protection of the people of Krezk over the attention that heroes often brought from Strahd. However, as they had secured a shipment of wine from the Wizard of the Wines, he was honorbound to allow them entrance.
Short-tempered and curt in his dealings with the heroes, he warned them that if they broke any laws or angered the Abbot they would be exiled immediately. However, the actions of the heroes led to the Abbot raising from the dead his last living heir, Ilya Krezkov. Still a gruff man, the Burgomaster has warmed to the heroes.
Upon their return to Krezk, the Burgomaster agreed to aid in the heroes' investigation into any "strangers" lurking around the village, and shared in a drink with Nine-Fingers and Tanner.
