Washington Park
Dedicated in 1942 during the final upgrade of Hill Street, this was the original location of New Jerusalem’s farmer’s market and continues to be used for such along with an active flea market. The park has many paths and a playground along with a huge, metal-covered bay that is used by the farmer’s market throughout the year, enjoying increased use during inclement weather. As with all parks, it is also neutral ground for dogs and cats.
