Stuff in Rakkir's bag of holding

  • Books:
    • The Thermoniticon: This leatherbound book is warm to the touch and smells like soot and sulphur. Reader must make a Wis save DC15 each time the book is opened unless attuned to the book. On a failed save, suffer from an extreme fear of fire for 24 hours and an inability to cast fire-oriented spells. On success or when attuned, by spending 2 hours reading the book, for the subsequent 24 hours the wizard is both resistant to fire damage and causes double fire damage on their own cast spells. Wizards only. A non-wizard attempting to read the book cannot learn anything from it and makes their save against fear of fire with disadvantage.
    • Heopatro's Leaves of Clairsentience: This libram is bound in sheets of tanned and stitched brain slices trimmed with smooth rounded bone. The pages inside are thin onionpaper but appear to be blank. By spending 2 hours reading it, a psionic can learn and thereafter use the Boosted Mind Blast attack discipline which costs 2 more PPP per use (3 rather than 1 per use) and increases the save difficulty by 2.
    • The Irritant Tome of Tusi: This set of engraved stone slates is contained in a platinum coffer. It is magically sealed and further research reveals it can only be opened when in the presence of raw and or rotten meat within 15'. This spellbook contains the spells Prismatic Spray, Globe of Invulnerability, and Mass Suggestion. Once opened, and whenever the book is open, a noxious cloud of biting flies surrounds the caster and any persons within 15', attacking with +4 to attack once per turn and doing 2d4+4 normal piercing damage on a successful hit, possibly breaking concentration on its or other spells being cast. Under normal circumstances the only way to be rid of them is to close the book, which also ends its spells if any are active.
    • Tome of Truesight: After reading this book for ten minutes, a third eye opens in the center of your forehead for 1 hour. For this duration, you see invisible creatures and objects as if they were visible, and you can see into the Ethereal Plane.
    • Picture Book of the Ettin Wizard: Upon opening this colorful and charmingly illustrated children's picture book, the reader must make a DC20 Intelligence save unless they have attuned to the item...
    • The Vinegar Verses: This book of depressing poetry gives the reader disadvantage on Charisma saves for 24 hours, but also creates a floating spray of acidic bubbles that causes 5d6 acid damage to creatures and objects in an area 5' wide by 30' long from the book in the direction the reader chooses. After being used to create this spray, the book requires 24 hours to recharge.
  • Diagram #1: A tall water-filled hollow tube about 8' across made of stone, with a pump and drain apparatus at the bottom and valves connected by cords to a series of levers controlling a cylinder inside the tube. (An elevator? A human-sized hydraulic press?)
  • Diagram #2: A revised casting circle that takes the shape of a perfect triangle connecting three smaller circles; the jotted notes suggest it can be used to conjure three devils at the same time.
  • A piece of stained glass
  • A ring of keys that do 3d12 cold damage whenever you touch them unless you're attuned to them
  • Correspondence from a Yugoloth named Morvahzgadul dated over the past three years written on Orc skin, a conversation evidently of a somewhat romantic nature, on the topic of a scheme to bankrupt the neighboring duchies and extend credit, effectively reducing them to vassalage using their own money; this seems to be very similar to the recent accusations against Rakkir in the papers.
  • A tube of lip balm
  • A notebook of mostly disjointed thoughts and words in several languages interspersed with pornographic doodles of geometric objects and stick people
  • A coupon for a massage parlor in Zauzet with coffee stains and blood on it; a small section of one corner seems to have been clipped out on purpose
  • An articulated undead baby duck skeleton that keeps pecking you.
