Naming Traditions

The Vinn are not given their surname until they devour the body of an enemy they slew by their own hand. Their given names are a combination of a significant trait of their prey and the suffix -phundr (eater). In exceptional circumstances, this convention will be put aside for the general naming, which is more honorable and usually only earned upon leading several successful campaigns.   E.G. (translated from Bakdreska) Gyallaphundr -Archer eater, Malmrphundr - Metal eater, Foringephunder -Captain eater.
