It's time for the February challenge! 27 prompts filled with a delicious assortment of creatures,
some more dangerous than others. I can't wait to share these sweet beasts with y'all!

This is Sir Salahad! The author of Sir Salahad's Feastiary, he'll be joining us as we check out the different creatures
of Culinaria.

 

Wings

berrybird
Berrybirb
Fruity songbirds living in Herbacium, these Berrybirbs are popular pets within Culinaria.

Stripes

Dragonmelon
Capable of spitting powerful seeds at their enemies, Dragonmelons are dangerously sweet dragons from Herbacium.

Horn

Cremewhal
Off the coast of Sushimia, Cremewhal are hunted by pastry chefs for their delicious cream.

Shell

Cocodile
A hard, fuzzy outer husk protects these reptiles from any other predators in the river between Herbacium and Sizzle.

Colorful

Sherbet Frog
A pastel, chubby amphibian from the Sugarcanaan Isles, these frogs are friendly but poisonous.

Nocturnal

BreadbOwl
These delicate creatures are rarely seen but often heard hooting through the nights in Chaff.

Mythical

Drakefruit
A surprisingly sweet dragon willing to help adventurers for large payments of fruit.

Prey

Rosemary Lamb
A type of lamb that has been raised on a diet of rosemary, giving its meat a distinct and herbaceous flavor.

Monstrous

Chocoloth
A monster with a body made of solid chocolate. It terrorizes bakeries and candy shops, melting everything in its path.

 

Danger

Dragotoffer
These sticky, heated dragons constrict their victims or trap them in sticky pools of caramel. Their jowls drip with molten caramel.

Purr

Custard Cream Cat
Adorable pets commonly found in Frizzle, this cat breed is incredibly sweet.

Roar

Tea Lion
With fur made of tea leaves, a concentration of Tea Lions can turn a body of water into tea for months.

Shriek

Banshee Berry
A berry that emits a piercing shriek attack. It's skin is said to be a key ingredient in potions.

Howl

Curry Coyotes
Small, scrappy creatures with a powerful howl that echoes across the desert plains and aid spice hunters.

Tamed

Cinnamoose
A gentle, deer-like creature whose antlers shed cinnamon sticks. The cinnamoose is often kept as a pet by tea witches.

Pack

Butterfly
Delicate insects that travel together in large flocks across Culinaria.

Burrow

Trufflemole
A small mole that burrows through the earth in search of truffles. Its nose is incredibly sensitive and it is able to detect even the smallest truffle.

Bond

Fungiphant
A gentle giant creature that resembles a cross between an elephant and a mushroom. Their magical spores bonds those who inhale them.

 

Stinky

Stinkmink
Located in the cold mountains North of Simmeroon, these tiny, furry creatures are very unfriendly and smell like stinky tofu.

Gentle

Sweetles
Tiny beetles common in the Sugarcanaan Isles. They feed on the sugar cane, making them a natural source of sugar.

Messenger

Whisperwing
A thick bird that flits through the trees whispering overheard phrases. Its meat is tender and used in high-end cuisine.

Food

Neapolitan Cows
Bred for their unique cream, these cows are also raised as a major food source.

Vicious

Bloodthirsty Beet
A beet with a reputation, said to feed on other plants and even small animals.

Silent

Rose Fox
Foxes with long, elegant tails covered in rose hips, producing a tangy, fruity oil that is used to flavor many dishes.

Parasite

Chileeches
Chileeches are a unique species of leech that are known for their fiery bite, which is said to leave a tingling sensation on the skin.

Predator

Spidernut
A type of nut that is protected by a highly venomous spider. The spider's venom is said to give the nut a unique, spicy flavor.

Stalk

Creepcumber
A cucumber that never stops walking. You may turn one day to find a creepcumber behind you. Don't look too long.
