Solstalk

Description

Before the binding of The Verdant King, these crytures would typically be found leading squads of Kriebeans on patrol in the Vivid Vale. If a particularly disruptive intruder was causing problems, a Solstalk would hunt them down personally, directing their underlings in battle against the foe. The greater the disruption, the more Solstalks would join the hunt, until the intruder was found and dealt with. Now, Solstalks are used by intermediate members of The Viridian Order, setting them apart from the inexperienced, or less dedicated members.

Combat

A Solstalk approaches battle with a lead-from-behind attitude, understanding that Kriebeans are more expendable than they are. They will always let their underlings engage an enemy first, then move in to take advantage of flanking bonuses, singling out an enemy for focus fire. If the battle looks hopeless, a Solstalk won't hesitate to sacrifice a few Kriebeans to cover its own escape, taking valuable intel with it.
