Speculation of Godly Origins - Public

As mortals, we cannot truly comprehend the full extent of the gods and their powers. Even now more people question the times of this supposed "World-That-Was" despite the state of the universe being or having been one world to be madness. We know that their is a world of spirits that is inhabited by entities born from mortals souls, thoughts, and feelings. How do we not know the gods are not such entities?
My theory is this my fellow mortals, those gods that power the tyrant Kings are mortal Gods are those gods born from and fueled by the beliefs, prayers, and souls of mortals of the Prime Materium. Just like us mortals, they are fallible and vulnerable, they are mortals doomed to die and become dust like us! Why should we mortals give or flesh, blood, and souls to these frail and fragile gods - these concepts given temporary life!
