The Weavers
With the Celestial Goddesses weakened grasp of influence across Terra, many suppressed beings would begin entering Terra
The Hands of The Weavers
The term Weavers is defined as those who bring a greater influence and pave the world to their desires. For example, the primary shape of the world is due to the influence of The Celestials and their vision for the world. Prior to that, is was influenced by the fog and the continuous war for power between the primordials. The influence of former rulers of the world have added to the world's influence.
Since the death of the Celestial Goddess Selene, and her twin sister's sacrifice, the Golden Mother was unable to continue suppressing the powers of these outer beings leading to an influx of Weaver's attempting to gain control of the world to shape the world in their own manner. Today across many regions, you can see devotee's to these Weavers. Good or not it is up to you, but at the end of the day is it best to trust these divine sources or tale on the mantle of a Weaver for yourself?
The Celestials
The Radiant Mother
Idalia is the first of the Celestials and is the mother of the Lunar Twins. She sparked the beginning of what would eventually be known as The Age of Humanity. Her significance within the world is undeniable for without her efforts to weave a world of her own, then Humanity wouldn't be where it would be today even if we're now in an Age of The Shattered Crown. Many still turn to her with the hope her heart is mended after the loss of her divine daughters and the betrayal she faced with Selene's beloved creations. She bares the symbol of the Divine Sol and illuminates the world spawning what would be known as Daylight.
The Lunar Twins
The twin lunar daughters, Selene & Nix followed in their mother's divine footsteps taking the form of the Moon & Darkmoon. Together they took on new responsibilities and carried on the growth of the world sharing it with their mother. Firstly, Selene brought upon the essential concept of Virtues, and with it came her most beloved spawn which would be Humanity itself. Following her sister's creations, Nix brought upon bridges to various other powers to heal the world and strengthen Humanity.
- These Weavers are the most common worshipped Gods within the world of Terra.
- Although not 100% associated as a member of the Celestials, the Dragon's Accord do worship and follow beside the kind heart of the being known as "The Feathered Queen."
- Tied to the Lunar Twins, their shadows are also worshipped in their own right.
Rex Draconis
Rex Draconis, the Tyranical King of Dread. Rex Draconis has roamed terra for ages far before the days of the Celestials as an Ancient Dragon. It wasn't until the time of The Age of Humanity when Rex Draconis would become known as a Weaver unlocking an Age of Dread as a possibility. Rex Draconis and the Nihil Exilium wish to take down Humanity and leave the world in a new perfect world.
The Four Visages
Long ago, The Four Visages shaped the world bringing upon the core elements of Terra. Earth, Wind, Fire and Water. Through various research held deep within the College of Lorian, it's been said that these Four Visages were once close with Idalia before all being imprisoned in their own gaol. Traces of their existence can be found in the form of Genasi, a race emboding various manifestations and pieces of these Visages. It's key to understand that like many, they cannot directly influence the world, but guide people to push their agenda/desires upon the people of Terra. Whether these four work together is unknown as many translations of ancient scripts detail depictions where they often worked and fought against one another like siblings.
The Fell Gods
The Demons and Devils of the Fell are simply minions compared to their Gods. The Fell Gods wish to destroy Terra and cause pain upon all to fuel an endless desire for control and power. They are sinister at heart, for they find pleasure in fear, agony and torment and even feed upon it. For a moment, they were sealed all together, but would eventually become free after the events of The First Sin. The Fell Gods cannot leave their native realm, and use minions to conduct their business and feed for them.
Throughout history, many members of Humanity fall into their temptation signing a contract to sell their virtues for power. One of the more notible one's was Draegor, a former member of The Dragon's Accord who decended into madness. Some seek the strength willingly like Draegor did.
The Deep
In the Age of The Shattered Crown, many hearts fell into a depression and when that heart was deemed too heavy, it would sink. The Deep was once the final resting place for all, but when the Celestial's arrived the sea began to become tainted. As these hurting souls entered and corrupted the ocean. During the Shattering of The Empyrean Crown, the sea rose as the world fell into war. The water rose, and as the waters rose its corruption followed too. The Deep is only rising, and an Age of The Deep shall arrive and swallow Terra.
The Plague
Unification of all is the desire of The Plague. Those who've become part of its ambition speak of it as a being of rot who embraces and loves them. The Plague is persistent force of unyielding strength. Infection is forced, if you do not accept The Plague, you will be forced to walk its path conducting its business unwillingly. Acceptance of your new friend will bring you joy. You will remain true and follow the path to a new world. An Age of Decay.
Johnathan Stewart
The Plague sought out a man in desperation who called upon the Gods to help him. The one who answered his call was The Plague and he was then blessed with its gift. The Plague spawned from his physical being accepting him for his wrong doings and assuring that in its world, he is beloved.
His name is well known across Terra. His story is a sick one, told to share the horrors of this world and to provide explanation for the many falling kingdoms and the quick spread of the pestilence spreading throughout the world.
The Hunger
The Hunger is a force whose followers take on many various forms. Dhampir, cannibals, Darakhul and even Ogre's existence is fueled by the Hunger. Excess, excess is what it desires. Long ago, in The Age of Primordials, many Ancient Dragon's fell ill to this accursed God. Within their world, they committed the sin of cannibalizing their own kind to gain strength. It wasn't until Humanity arrived when it began to expand and grow in its power slowly bleeding into Selene's creations. It feeds on the lifeforce of those born by the Celestials granting its followers great powers in return.
The Destroyers
Originally intended as a gift, Nix allowed many to enter and explore the Astral Veil to discover the Greater Cosmos. Though, an the old would awaken and begin terrorizing the cosmic seas. Many who saw them were marked with horror, some going blind and others going mad. They consume all, swallowing matter itself to feed.
Deep in the Veil, those who fall under their gaze of madness worship them as true lords. A mad cult is formed in the Astral Veil to unbind the chains so that the sea may collapse.
The Wild Mother
Similar to the Aetheric Channel, there's a form of magic that comes from the heart of Terra known as the Arboreal Channel. This flow of magic is said to be sourced from a towering tree named The Spire. It's power is that of the natural world founded on Terra compared to that gifted by Nix. The Wild Mother is to thank for this power, although seen as blasphemous in the eyes of those belonging true to Humanities beliefs, for those who embrace The Wild Mother share in delight with the virtues being connected as one.
The Catalyst
A power so feared it united the forces of the Fell, Ancient Dragons and True Giants to seal it away. A power that could only be described as blasphemous, heretical and vile at heart. Although the term of Primordial would be given to these three beings, this is the true beginning of the world. One lost in a void.
The Catalyst is worshipped by the Princess of Ruin, Lysandra, Daughter of Selene. She has fallen from her mother's grace and now lives brokenhearted finding a connected to the sealed weaver of ancient rule. Those who follow her in the Silentium Ruinae, wish to bring The Catalyst back into power forming the Empyrean Crown and bringing back The Catalyst, but rather than it being the First Age as it was once long ago, it'll return as the Age of Ruin.
The Infestation
The Infestation is unlike any other weaver. This is a cosmic event of sorts, one of great chaos. A hivemind unifies the infestation led by a greater power of sorts. In their unpleasant language, they call upon the Broodmother for their answers and consume all biomass imaginable from the world. Drones, titans and various other insectoids do its bidding with on thought in mind, to consume all.
Interesting enough, unaccepted, various Insectoids have been seen communing similar in manner to those with virtues. Is it to confuse and lure Humanity into a trap? Or is the idea of the Infestation misunderstood or even flawed?
Natural Death
Long ago, in an age before chaos, there was a system established. One which was built upon fundamental laws. There was structure, and a process to the world untouched and protected. It remained safe until one day it was severed from order. This was Natural Death, a process which brought souls to rest and gave them a proper burial.
Natural Death without a purpose grew mad and began to break. A corruption began, tainting the soil bringing on death to Terra itself. Life began to decay and grow sick like their weavers do. Today, their belief is carried on by followers known as Deathwardens. These warriors seek an answer to resolve the madness Natural Death is facing without purpose. Solitary warriors, they journey on their own accord to find an answer and save the natural cycle of Life & Death.
Natural Death, now mad is seen as an evil across the world as its physical forms wreak havoc confused much like their weaver.
