Session 62 Report

General Summary

The party descended the mountain and set foot once more into the desert, ready to start the journey back towards Diso'an. The travels through the desert were mostly uneventful, save for a wandering merchant from which the party mostly bought a couple of hats. They also encountered a man who had read the First Words, and he seemed to have lost a bit of his mind in the process. The information he could relay about the book was useful to Gambi, but the others were mostly avoiding mentions of the cursed texts or were to overwhelm by the weight of the words to grasp much about their meaning. Apart from information about the book, he also mentioned a swordsman in Norguard that appeared to peak Corron's interest.
Upon arriving in Diso'an, things were mostly as they had ben left, save for the much improved finances of Simp's store under the guidance of his grandfather, and the news about Ziki having formed a family in the two months that the others spent travelling. Some talk between the party was had and they managed to fill in each other a bit about what had been happening, save for the fate of Ikina who appears to still be occupied with the dragon harvest, or perhaps having filled the time with some other useful activity.
Simian also realized the weakness of his own flesh after having carried around a jar filled with oil gifted to them from a mechanical fiend and/or aberration the encountered in the desert.
