Kalicose

Kalicose is the first civilization of man, founded by the Human Nomads of old. With their Arch Priest founding the city and declaring the name after his own, the Human population would now be able to cultivate and grow in safety of the Cradle's walls. Kalicose is an extremely religious nation, giving power to the centralized church to govern the people.   The founding Priest would create a form of governing similar to the one they were given while Nomads. They would create a Theocratic Oligarchy with 12 seats and 1 head seat. Each seat would need to be of the Arch Priest level for eligibility. In this form of governing they direct their citizens lives through religious fellowship via Daivetoism. The high church would call themselves The 13 Elect.   Laws are strict within Kalicose, some of the notable ones are as follows; mass must be attended ever 5 days with an offering of mana to the church, outsiders of nonhuman decent are prohibited from entering Kalicose, magic that is unsanctioned by the church is treason and punishable by death. With many more strict laws the Elect have many guidelines for their people to follow to seek a true and faithful life.   Kalicose does not trade outside of its' walls. With their main resources being Greyshoot, an elongated grey plant full of minerals the body needs, since it grows extremely well in their climate. In addition, Kalicose has a few different live stock that reside within like the Cantulus, Ramaswun, and Bovis.   As for architecture, Kalicose follows the same aesthetic that the Cradle originated with. The Cradle is a large oval building made with a grey stone donning a dome roof. The walls are all hollowed out and used as structures for homes, businesses, churches, and more. While within the center resides most of the agricultural district as well as recreational zones. There is a large theme of arches within Kalicose as well as aqueducts that run from wall to wall the whole length of the nation. Roads are build by spiritic cobble and follow the walls the full length of Kalicose. The Cradle is lit by a bioluminescent moss that grows on the stone making up the Cradle.   While Kalicose doesn't have an official military, they do have a means of defense. The Elect have a combat division called the Bellators. They are a group of Paladins born, breed, and trained to serve as holy warriors for Kalicose. Some say the Bellators are the physical manifestation of divine judgement, others say they aren't even human. One thing is consistent, no one wants to be on the wrong side of the Bellators.   Within the walls of the Cradle are the opposition to the Elect, the Kalicosian Witches. Witches are any Magus who is unsanctioned by the church. Some say that there is a rebellious group of Witches within Kalicose that call themselves the The Coven of Usannus of Usannus. There goals are unknown aside from the fact that they have a clear opposition to the Elect.   The Kalicosians love their home, for the most part, it is often said; While within the Walls, Watchful eyes Protect all.
The Kalicosian currency is a carved stone coin called a Presum.
Within Kalicose Magus are refered to as Priest.
