Side Quest: The Wayward Child

As the party travels from Briarhollow to the Grove of the Verdant Wardens, they encounter a young Otterfolk child named Rill sitting on a tree stump by the side of the road. She’s visibly upset and claims she got separated from her family, who were traveling to Northgate as merchants. Her fear grows as she recounts seeing “big scary shadows” in the forest.
