Captain Starlight Inlustris Morning Glory (a.k.a. Captain)
Starlight was born 2nd of Cold Moon to Inlustris and Convolvulus Morning Glory. She was named after her mother, which means Starlight in Celestial. She is the spitting image of her mother, if you could look at them next to each other the only difference would be Starlight's height, which she got from her father. Her skills as a bloodhunter are considered subpar compared to others in her order because of her lack in training. She wants to improve and eventually tell the orders to screw off. She learned her abilities from the military and stumbled through her self-taught bloodhunter ways. She rose up the ranks thanks to her innate abilities and gruesome tactics. She wishes to reform the military. She met Aster in the military where they quickly grew to be friends and eventually Aster convinced her to go on a date. After that the two became inseparable, often taking up jobs together and working close in the military. She currently is trying to find her partner, who has disappeared on their own accord.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
5'11" teetering six. She's very fit, has toned abs, but a soft belly, and thighs, but not hulking out. She has an hourglass body figure, with most of her weight in her hips. You can however, see her ribs. She doesn't have a big chest, but its decent.
Body Features
She has long cascading curvy dark blue hair(Midnight Blue Pantone), she often pins it up in a neat bun for combat, otherwise she wears it down when she can. She's ghostly pale in all seasons besides summer. Her eyes are Glacier Lake(Pantone) blue, besides her left eye which is almost white and her pupil is wobbly in a star.
Facial Features
She has an old scar over her left eye(faded to a white, with her iris being wobbly in a star shape.), her most recent scar is just above her collar bone and neck, which is still a bright red. Her eyebrows are well kept, and angled to make her look slightly angry when she's not meaning to be.
Identifying Characteristics
She has a few notable scars, one over her left eye(from The Winter Ambush) which is one of her more iconic ones, with her eye being wobbly in a star shape. A few nicks on her jaw/neck, one big scar around the front half of her neck just above her collarbone(from Erebus), a few slashing and puncture scars on her stomach(from The Winter Ambush), a slash on her left back shoulder blade, one on her inner right thigh.
Physical quirks
Her left pupil is star-shaped.
Scents: polished metal/metallic, cigarette smoke, leather, blood, Smokey and citrusy black tea, old parchment, outdoors, weed, something sterile.
Special abilities
Her blood sparks with lightning whenever she bleeds. It often squirms and moves on its own accord like a snake, trying to cause the demise of her attacker.
Apparel & Accessories
-Daily: Decently detailed silver halfplate armor with pauldrons, it has classic signs of Appracity make and markings if you know your armor(Aster got it custom made for her). It has Air Force blue(Pantone) silk accents and her cape matches that color which has the emblem of her BloodHunter Family Crest and Order. Underneath that is a gray tank top she’s had for years, and long tight stretchy pants. She wears big black steel toed boots. She always wears her gold wedding ring, inlaid with amethyst(which has something she can’t read carved into the inside).
-Lazy/sleep wear: Tank tops, shorts. She almost always wears her cape. Alternatively, boxers and tank tops for sleep wear. She also has a dark blue floral-patterned silk robe that matches Aster’s, although she only wears it if she’s with them or misses them, afraid to get it dirty or frayed.
-Casual: She has some nice button up shirts, mostly black, white, lavender, and blue(Aster insists she wears a soft blue/purple, “it just brings out your eyes”(Captain’s Blue Pantone, and Blue Coral Pantone, and various shades of pastel lavender), with pale dull-brown pants. She may also wear a tie with it. She also has a dress, it is loose at the ends of the sleeves and is very flowy and elegant. It’s the colors of a pastel sunrise at golden hour. It fades up from gray twilight to warm red, to orange, to soft yellow, and finally a soft white at the top. It is revealingly low in the back. She doesn’t wear it often because of her scars(Aster picked it out for her.)
-Formal: A tight fitted cool-gray suit to show off her figure, with silver accents. She wears a tucked in saturated blue(Brady blue Pantone) ascot that pops out from her white dress shirt underneath. She is too afraid to pull off anything revealing.

Personal history
Fought at the tail end of the Akashan war where she lost her eye and made friends with Aster.
She was put on mandatory leave because of the rough shape of her unit and lack of resources in the war. The two friends decided to stay together, not wanting to go alone and bonding over their shared experiences.
During this leave she spent time with Aster and eventually got convinced to go on a date. Afterwards they were partners and did oddball jobs together, often picked by Aster from their connections. This leave made the two become very close, even to the point of Aster proposing. They planned on getting married when the two had enough money to settle down after their military life, dreaming of luxury only gods could rival.
However, Starlight wanted to still reform the military, and went back, with her partner following her. Soon after she achieved her current rank of Captain, her partner disappeared. She tried to find them to no avail, following a lead to the Kingdom of Etoir.
She is currently in charge of the group, but is more under a democracy. She has sworn loyalty to Sorrel and has developed a close relationship with Aqua.

Homeschooled but well educated pertaining to monster hunting, specifically fey. She is also self-taught, and trained pertaining to military tactics.

Previously she was employed ranks private through lieutenant from 1172-1175.

Achieved the rank of Captain at the age of 26.
Failures & Embarrassments
She is mostly embarrassed about her past before her military life and her failures that blemish her skin. She also has some internalized homophobia. She also caused a blunder in her troop which she is convinced affected her promotions.

She does suffer from some PTSD, although she has come quite desensitized to death.
