HERITOR: Eden Isles
Eden Isles grew up in a fishing village with her father and mother. Her father, Avery, was gone for long periods of time at sea as a merchant. Avery was always shadowed by Goathes Asger, Water Warden, his first mate and the largest man Eden knew. Her mother, Merida, taught her the ways of healing and ran the local hospital.
While never wealthy, Eden never went hungry and grew up happy, until the day her father did not return. His vessel, The Last Dragoon, returned to the village in a broken state. Many of its crew were missing along with her father. Goathes handed Avery’s blade to Eden and explained they had been attacked during a storm and her father lost in the chaos. When Eden asked why they were attacked and by who, Goathes explained the Government had come after them by order of King.
Goathes did not wish to provide more, but Eden pushed. Goathes informed Eden they were not merchants. Her father was a Pirate who harassed the local slave trades, freeing the slaves in the process. This had made him a wanted man by many powerful Nobles who lost money with every slave ship they lost.
Merida, crushed by the news, became ill as winter approached and passed mourning the loss of Avery.
Eden, mourning her mother’s loss, wanted revenge and wanted to find her father, if he lived. She demanded Goathes teach her how to fight, which he finally agreed. She learned quick and adapted her healing knowledge and her knife play becoming a battle medic.
Goathes gathered what men and women were left and called in every favor owed to him and the Avery to put together a crew. Together, they repaired The Last Dragoon and began to plot their revenge.
