BATTLE NIGHT: Tomb of Lambal
From the Aegyptian shore, and up the the River Lylec is the Tomb of Lambal the Mad. Lambal had been a severe ruler who let the Aegypt stagnate while he hunted for perceived shades haunting his realm.
His paranoia intensified with age, and the court grew eerily silent to avoid drawing attention to oneself. Lambal believed the silience confirmed they were plotting against him. Many were tortured and executed. He used the Headpiece of Woe, an ornate piece used to cow of officials into obsequiousness.
RUMOR: Krakoz is searching for this headpiece as it will help his slave trade. Rulers will willing provide slaves to placate the wearer of the Headpiece of Woe.
He even murdered three sons before an added bit Lambal in his room. How a viper gained access to the bedchamber high in palace was a detail the Aegypts were happy to blame on their gods’ will.
Lambal the Demonhunter, Lambal the Mad, now Lambal the Hated was given a small pyramid tomb upriver where no one pays homage. The Tomb is rumored to be haunted by Lambal’s ghost.
