Quiburo

Quiburo is the currency used by Etrians The currency was first introduced when the Etrian empire was formed, as a way of removing the barter system and replacing it with a system where everything had a set value.   As different items, such as foodstuffs and clothes, varied in supply and demand, the prices for each thing have changed, going up whenever supply has become low and demand has risen, and staying stable whenever the supply has increased and demand has fallen, on the basis that if the value of something fell, then it wouldn't have a set value. Therefore over time wages have had to rise in certain higher paying jobs, just so that the middle classes would still support the upper classes. Meanwhile, conditions for the working classes have fallen as their wages haven't changed a bit.   The symbol for the Quiburo is a Ø, and the coins have varying values depending on the size and metal used to make the coin. The 1cm bronze coin has a value of 1 Quiburo, the 2cm bronze coin has a value of 2 Quiburo, the 1cm silver coin has a value of 5 Quiburo, the 2cm silver coin has a value of 10 Quiburo, the 3cm silver coin has a value of 25 Quiburo. The 2cm gold coin has a value of 100 Quiburo. The 3 cm gold coin has a value of 200 Quiburo.

Manufacturing process

The bronze, silver or gold needs to be melted down and poured into a mould. Once it has cooled down slightly, the stamp is then used to imprint the design of the current king's head, the value, and the Ø.
