Grand Maritime Alliance
Structure
The Grand Maritime Alliance is lead by Grand Admiral Rufivus Rienarnian, and includes ships from the Feydom of Dire and Isle of Edel. Respectively, the Dire navy is under the command of Admiral Agis Valden, and the Edel vessels under Admiral Eric Weitzmann.
There are currently several hundred operational ships, from large man-o-war type ships of the line to sloops of war and frigates.

History
They were hastily established in 21 PR to take the fight to the rising Confederacy. Their aim was to drive the Confederacy out of the Eastern Islands. Reinarnian was promoted to Grand Admiral following his textbook victory at Jourtland in 17 PR.
Valden and Weitzmann were successful in 21 PR when they broke the Naval blockade of Dire in the Action in the Dragolver Sea.
