Death Ritual

When a devotee of Decha dies, it is customary for notices to be sent to all members of the deceased's family inviting them to a viewing of the body. This viewing lasts typically two to three days, but can last up to a week. During this time, family members all stay under the same roof helping each other grieve for the loss and telling stories about the dead. When all are satisfied and ready to say their final goodbyes, the body is customarily buried in a local cemetery. Followers of Decha are more likely to have family grave plots.
