Yuan-ti

The Yuan-ti for once a race of proud serpentine humanoids. However, during the years of the Great war something changed and they fell from their previous powerful position.
During the Great war there was a worldwide switch in All peoples reactions towards this group of people. All of the sudden the Yuan-ti found themselves being enslaved in mass. The ones that weren't being enslaved seem to be hunted down, almost as if for sport. The majority of people's reaction were cruel and insensitive towards their plight. Even the races that weren't hunting down her enslaving still seem to just turn a blind eye to the Yuan-ti. Their struggles just didn't matter to them it's almost as if they no longer existed really as anything other than pets.

Appearance
There are two types of Yuan-ti, the pureblood and the half bloods.
Pure-blooded Yuan-ti are almost indistinguishable from humans. Their only differentiating factors tend to be their eyes their, their fangs, and random patches of scales that appear upon their body once finish puberty.
Half bloods on the other hand are much more noticeably serpentine. They can range anywhere from being almost fully snake-like to having half a snake body or just being humanoid but fully scaled.
One would truly not really know if I have blood were monster or not unless they took the time to approach and speak with them. However,most will not do that.
Due to their fearsome and monsterific appearance, it would not be that much of a surprise if it were just the half bloods that were being hunted down and enslaved. However people had started seeking out the pure bloods as well. It was almost as if the pure the blood, the more money that one could get for them. 
In some countries, such as Kalderon, do Yuan-ti people were tricked into their own slavery through means of accruing debt.
