Demethea (a.k.a. Thea)

Demethea is a Solar Exalt, of the Eclipse Caste.
She is currently located in the Sequestered Tabernacle, a secretive sanctuary of the Cult of the Illuminated, hidden somewhere in the Northeastern Threshold.

Personal history

Demethea was born in a Sesus mine of the southeast, working every day to harvest iron and other minerals for the Imperial war machine. The mines were poor, the work was hard, and the Dragonblooded in charge were cruel, but with her parents and her friends, life was manageable.
One particularly bad day, her closest friend Anisa was discovered by the satrap to be part of the Cult of the Illuminated. The slavemaster had tied her to the whipping post, and in front of the indentured population, sentenced her to 100 lashes. Demethea, unable to stand the sight, stepped forwards and grabbed the whip as the slavemaster drew it back. In that moment, the mark of the Sun exploded upon her brow.
She drew the whip into both hands, jerking the slavemaster off his feet, and bodily hurled the man through the wall surrounding the slave quarters.
