Ennostwell

Ennostwell is commonly called The First of the Eight, mainly because the Rennon have spread out from here to rule the world. Map:

This is the continent populated by the red skinned Rennon. They've come to rule Creation and so of course have named their continent First of the Eight.
It is one of the Raised Lands. It has a central mountain range with the land falling away to grassy plains and forests around the edges. The Slate Fields are a rocky desert where almost nothing grows.

This is one of the Raised Lands. It has a mountain range in the center instead of a great salt lake. Over the last several thousand years since the event that created The Shattered the prevailing winds around the southern hemisphere have led to a pleasant and stable weather pattern. This has made for a bountiful land that has everything to support Rennon military expansion.
Three major cities dominate the countryside. In the northwest is Capitol. The Rennon from this area won out over the years of discord about 500 years ago. Therefore, they named their city Capitol. To the east is Yeoam. The east is covered in wide prairies and grasslands which provide excellent pastures for a variety of domestic herd animals. To the south is the city of Rainshadow. It has made great use of The Slate Fields, which is a great desert that stretches east from the central mountains.
Of particular note is the city of Northpoint which borders the hills and jungles of the northern tip. It is a major river port with thriving trade. Another noteworthy city is Cleftport that sits at the end of the Great River Pral . It is the continent's key military and commercial port.
