Baphomet the Baffling

An Oracle of Pharasma with powers as inscrutable as her aims, Bapho is a Forest Gnome from Mistyvale who is often found speaking to the voices that seem to whisper in her enormous ears. Since she has just arrived in the Crossroads, nothing is known of her past or why she left the forbidden Vale of the Fey. She wears a bizarre headdress in the shape of a metronome that is always ticking back and forth—when it stops, uncanny things tend to happen, as if time is skipping a beat in its usually unfaltering rhythm. Of medium height and build for an Eivar Shabir, Bapho has bright curly purple hair and eyebrows that rise almost to the tips of her ears, with attractive features and a bright smile. Her most curious feature, however, are her light lavender eyes which sometimes seem to morph into the shape of hourglasses. She nevertheless has a melodic voice and is mostly incredibly charming and gregarious; but at others she appears to be horrified by whatever those Delphic eyes are witnessing, which often inspires discomfort if not terror in the objects of her gaze.
