Poslool

Poslool is one of the major continents of Craedock, located in the northern hemisphere, east of the meridian. It is most famous today as the impact zone of the Elder Stone, where the city of Aqalith was destroyed by the impact. Its now largest settlement is the city of Endertarr, an Abjuropolis, a protective, walled bunker-city created to withstand the impact of the Elder Stone.

Geography

Since the Fall of the Elder Stone, the land now resembles something of a ring of islands, primarily split two halves of what was once a large single continent and several hundred smaller islands surrounding the Thyatrenel Sea, which is the crater of the Stone. The dominant terrain is eldritch jungle, a thick rainforest like environment riddled with dark magical energy.

Fauna & Flora

The Voidtaint created by the mass of the Stone has warped the landscape in Poslool. It is now characterized by a terrifying eldritch jungle, with dark, poisonous plant life and hungry dire animals plaguing the woods. The seas in the Thyatrenel Sea are rumoured to hold the sunken ruins of Aqalith, as well as a wide variety of horrid sea creatures spawned from teh Void itself. Many of the continent's fauna have grown to massive proportions, increasing several times over in size. Such lumbering beasts crawl through the woods or tower above the trees, or blot out the sun with their massive flapping wings in the skies as appropriate.

Inhabitants

The few remained citizens of Poslool survive in the giant walled cities built by the Federation of Poslool before its destruction, called Abjuropoleis. They live in highly communal social structures and pledge loyalty to their city above all else, almost in a cult-like fashion. This is necessary to their survival against the abominations that scratch at their walls. They grow most of what they need inside their borders, and scavenge very near by only when necessary. A small amount of paths and sometimes tunnels exist which they use to travel between their cities.
The largest protective city is Endertarr. It is the largest functioning port on Poslool, and maintains an extensive trade relationship with Acron and several states from Unitia. From here, goods are traded with and distributed to the few other surviving cities in Poslool.
