Harkenlock

Southeast of Wispwood in a colder, but by no means arctic, band is Harkenlock. A mostly alpine island, it boasts a rocky, pebbly shoreline all around its coast, endless expanses of evergreens, and in its center lies the region’s only active volcano, also the highest peak, Mt. Aarmaden. Harkenlock is rich in metallic resources and is also the largest of the three islands in the Acronian Sea. One of the few major city-states in all of Craedock not on a shoreline, the Dwarven Theocracy of Sprigstein lies at the base of the volcano. On its northwestern coast is the Hekros Kritarchy.
