Reclamation Era

The Reclamation Era is described as the time period in which the Terran Starship Command began enacting its machinations to restore peace and order to not only the wasteland, but to Earth in its entirety. Within the span of a few decades, the TSC was able to consolidate many allies and eliminate the worst aspects of post-apocalyptic barbarism.

After a long winded Council meeting, John James stepped down in favor of being replaced by Ahmad Ibrahim. The new Supreme Commander, lacking the means to restore humanity until this moment, immediately began coursing a plan of action. Most civilized organizations agreed to peacefully integrate or ally with the TSC. Some holdouts, usually consisting of slavers, raiders, anarchists, warlords, etc., had to be pacified or exterminated through force of arms.   In areas already under TSC control, severe measures were implemented that would allow humanity to no longer just survive, but to thrive as well. Strict rationing, a mandatory, 2 children maximum policy, and martial law. Though severe, humanity was finally able to recover. Crop yields increased, global communication was restored, cities were rebuilt, and the harshest measures imposed on the populace were revealed.
