Saouri Nation

Like most Native Islanders, the inhabitants of Na'Saouri are primitive and traditional. They lack most forms of modern technology, except things that are brought from abroad. They do, however, possess powerful fire magic. The Saouri are said to be the pre-eminent users of fire magic, and have an unparalleled affinity with it. The Saouri are undoubtedly the most aggressive and militaristic of the Islanders in the central isles. Their hunters are deadly warriors, even with the limited weaponry available to them, and their fire mages are a terrifying force of elemental power. The Saouri have spent centuries fighting against their neighbouring islands, the Calamaran Empire, and other invading forces.
