Marv Partok is a Parasite Demon whose caution often spills over into outright cowardice. Cloaked in yellow skin adorned with unsettling black spots, his multiple spiny protrusions serve as an uncanny crown of timidity rather than power. Marv calls Boogey Hollow his sanctuary, only venturing out to partake in low-stakes card games or for dumpster diving expeditions, where one man's trash truly becomes this demon's treasure. Among Marv's meager social circle, he finds an unlikely camaraderie with King Fox, the local werewolf. They share a bond that defies the pecking order of the paranatural food chain, a friendship that survives despite Marv's penchant for cowardice.

He claims it's trauma that makes him averse to danger, but let's cut the crap—it's more about his existential crisis. Unfortunately for him, the paranatural world has taken note, christening him "Marv the Mook," a reputation as shoddy as the trinkets he fishes out of Boogey Hollow's refuse.
