Ignod the Spade
Miles of stony moorland stretch out through the mountains, cut by gravel trail, hidden beneath the overgrowth heather and shrubs. If not for the marker stones perforating the landscape, the hills would appear untouched by men.
A wheezing ork pushes a cart splattered in mud over the gravel trail, his face a collection of moles and stray bristles atop a landslide of wrinkled leathery flesh. Two drooping eyes peer from beneath canvas folds, with lips that widen to a yellowed, toothy smile.
Deeper: The ork is Ignod and he is a collector. For a modest fee, he would be happy to show you the very spot where Bannerette Corhé launched the ambush upon Horka the Undying and his company of Bellringer Knights sending waves of plumbata into the air, to rain havoc in barbs and lead. For a few coins more, Ignod would be willing to point out several proven sites guaranteed to produce a handful of antiquities from the skirmish [2D6 lead-weighted dart heads].
The paying customers interested in something more exclusive, receive an invitation to his camp where he and his crew, have a few pieces of interest [d6+3 Ignod's Curios...] that he'd be willing to part with for the right price.
The camp is typical of ork construction, two thresholds, one of wood, the other of stone, clear a portal through the thorn and bramble hedge wall surrounding the camp. Inner earthworks and palisades separate the common areas from the living quarters of the camp which could easily accommodate four families within. Ignod heads to a pile of bundles under a staked oilskin tent, just a ways off the main thoroughfare.
