Vespasiano dolo Cando is a prince of the Kingdom of Litticala. He is currently third in line of succession to the Calan throne.
He was born in Coromare as the second child of King Arrats and Queen Imelda, then second in line for the throne behind his sister Fioralba. He married Serena dolo Auro in 496 GE, shortly before his father's passing. Together, they have three children: Prince Celestino, Princess Aurora and Princess Vespera.
Vespasiano has been an ardent supporter of his sister's reign from the day of her ascension. He has faced occasional criticism along with the rest of the royal house for his strict religious devotion.
Personal History
Vespasiano was born on 17 Seed Moon, 475 GE during the reign of his father, King Arrats dolo Cando. His mother, Queen Imelda, was the eldest daughter of the noble Rosafusta house. He was named in honor of the evening, when Maresol and Pareluna are said to meet briefly in their daily journeys across the heavens. Along with his elder sister, Fioralba, he was educated in the palace by a combination of Celestialist priests and Temporalist scholars, following the precedents set by past Calan monarchs. While their religious education was entirely Celestialist, the young royals were taught a wide variety of academic subjects, including written and spoken Naleedic. Following his sister's wedding in 493, Vespasiano was betrothed to Serena dolo Auro, the daughter of a noble house from southern Litticala. While waiting for his future bride to come of age, his niece Princess Lucia was born, moving him from second to third in the line of succession. Vespasiano and Serena were married at the grand Celestial Temple in Godswalk on 21 River Moon, 496 GE. The festive atmosphere in the city quickly turned somber with the death of King Arrats six days later. Following a week of mourning and the Lunar Sabbath, his sister Fioralba ascended the throne on 3 Gold Moon. The birth of his nephew, Prince Eliodoro a week later, once again shifted Vespasiano from second to third in line for the throne. His son, Prince Celestino was born in 497 GE, with twin daughters Princess Aurora and Princess Vespera following a year later.Mental characteristics
